Tomorrow Partners, a design agency, was my client for this project. Each year, Stanford Summer Session faces the highly competitive process of attracting the world’s best and brightest students to its campus to attend one of three highly regarded summer programs. In preparing for the summer ahead, the session determined that new collateral and a website were needed to present the program in a way that brought the summer session experience to life.
Through a deep dive it became clear that the summer session needed a compelling way to position it among the many prestigious competitive summer options and also relative to the standard school year to attract both current Stanford and non-matriculated students. Through in-depth stakeholder interviews and a brand workshop, the “Stanford Experience” was unearthed as well as the intensely focused and unique way in which the summer session brings this experience to life. That expression was then used to drive the design of the new admissions collateral and the program website.
